ABC has given a put-pilot commitment to a comedy starring Tony Award winner Leslie Odom Jr. and executive produced by Kerry Washington, according to Variety.

The Broadway premiere of AMERICAN SON has just announced additions to its producing team. The play will be co-produced by a team that includes Shonda Rhimes, Jada Pinkett Smith, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Dwyane Wade, Steve Stoute and Nnamdi Asomugha. They join a team that includes Kerry Washington's Simpson Street, Jeffry Richards, Rebecca Gold and Will Trice.

According to Deadline, Jimmy Kimmel will be adding his voice to Man of the House, ABC's multi-camera hybrid family comedy pilot from Gail Berman's The Jackal Group, ABC Studios and Scandal star Kerry Washington's studio-based Simpson Street. Kimmel joins previously announced Alyson Hannigan, Leslie Bibb, Jake Short, Jenna Ortega and Reece Caddell.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Hulu has acquired the upcoming series LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE starring Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon. This television adaptation of Celeste Ng's best-selling novel LITTLE FIRES EVERYWHERE sparked a multiple-outlet bidding war and eventually was quickly ordered by Hulu.
