The Tony Award winning Broadway musical AIN'T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS enters its final weeks in the West End at the Prince Edward Theatre, with its final performance on Sunday 17 September 2023, having delighted audiences in the capital since its opening on 31 March 2023. 

The producers of the Tony Award-winning Broadway musical AIN'T TOO PROUD have announced that the show will play its final performance at the Prince Edward Theatre on Sunday 17 September 2023, ending its limited run earlier than originally planned.

The West End premiere of the smash-hit, Tony Award-winning Broadway musical has now extended booking until 7 January 2024 at the Prince Edward Theatre, with the Christmas performance schedule now on sale.

The Ain’t Too Proud gala performance took place last night, Thursday 20 April at the Prince Edward Theatre. Guests included Hugh Grant, Sir Bob Geldof, Pete Townshend, Adrian Lester, Beverley Knight, Pearl Mackie and Su Pollard. Check out photos here!

Bronte will be joined by Kane Oliver Parry as King's husband and song-writing partner 'Gerry Goffin', Amy Ellen Richardson as song-writer 'Cynthia Weil', Matthew Gonsalves as song-writer 'Barry Mann', Carol Royle as King's mother 'Genie Klein' and Adam Howden as music publisher and producer 'Donnie Kirshner'. MOTOWN is getting a new Smokey! Not only that, but the Daily Mail writes that the West End production of Motown the Musical is extending through October 2017. Obioma Ugoala will join the cast as 'Smokey Robinson' starting July 4, 2016.
