Today, Jermyn Street Theatre announces that Stella Powell-Jones and David Doyle will succeed Tom Littler.

Running July 1 through 16 at The Colonial Theatre, the audience will be transported to a bustling Irish pub with a stage full of incredibly talented actors singing and playing their own instruments. 

Signature Theatre is accepting submissions for original and unpublished full-length plays (no musicals) from now through August 15, 2022. Playwrights must currently reside in Virginia, Maryland or DC. Only one submission per playwright.

Creative Cauldron is revving up for our 20th theatrical season with a summer celebrating all things musical theater.

Signature Theatre has announced the cast for the concert presentation of We Shall Someday, a timely new musical written by Harrison David Rivers and Ted Shen. The concert presentation will take place June 30 – July 2, 2022.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, will present NOW MORE THAN EVER: THE SONGS OF BILLY RECCE on July 21 at 9:30pm. In this, an intimate, irreverent evening of story songs from upcoming projects, Recce's music will be sung by a colorful cluster of the country's most talented up-and-comers and Broadway stars, alongside a rocking band.

Signature Theatre, the nationally influential Off-Broadway theater, has announced Timothy J. McClimon, currently the organization's Interim Executive Director, to the permanent role of Executive Director, in which he will continue to serve alongside Artistic Director Paige Evans, beginning July 1.

Illana Stein will direct the World Premiere of Complicity by playwright Diane Davis (HB Studios Residency Fellow; Actors Studio Playwrights and Directors Unit), presented by Eden Theater Company (Byron Anthony and Joyce Romano, Producers) at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street Ste 1E New York, NY), September 28-October 16. 

The New Group has announced the company’s 2022-23 Season, to include the following productions: Evanston Salt Costs Climbing, by Will Arbery, directed by Danya Taymor; The Seagull/Woodstock, NY, by Thomas Bradshaw, adapted from Chekhov, directed by Scott Elliott; and Bernarda’s Daughters, by Diane Exavier, directed by Dominique Rider.  T

Green Light Group Productions has announced that Helen Hayes Award Winner Wayne Bennett will join the cast of the July 2022 Off-Broadway premiere of the Audrey Hepburn biomusical Audrey: The New Musical, directed and choreographed by Kelli-Ann Paterwic.

A new, five-person version of an award-winning docudrama by longtime A.R.T. collaborator Anna Deavere Smith and the North American premiere of a new adaptation of Chaucer’s tale The Wife of Bath that celebrates community and the human knack for telling tales were announced today as additions to the 2022/23 programming lineup at A.R.T.
