As BroadwayWorld reported last week, Chasing Rainbows: The Road to Oz, a new Broadway-bound musical about the early life of Judy Garland, from her vaudeville sister act through her rise at MGM to win the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, just had an industry presentation in New York City. The musical has reportedly earned the approval of one very important guest, Liza Minnelli. She told Deadline:

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, November 2nd, Broadway Sessions welcomes cast members from the hit musical Anastasia.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN, THE NEW Irving Berlin MUSICAL is now extended by two weeks through January 15, 2017. Holiday Inn, The New Irving BerlinMusical opened officially last night, October 6, 2016, on Broadway at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). The revival production of ANYTHING GOES, now playing at the Stephen Sondheim Theater has announced the Snap a Sailor! Photo Contest in honor of Fleet Week (May 25 - June 1).
