Chance Theater has announced its third Chance Cyber Chat Series. Just because the doors of the Bette Aitken theater arts Center are temporarily closed, it doesn't mean that we can't still get together, connect and chat on a virtual theater trip! In fact... you could say that now is the best time to focus on community and exhilarating theater productions.

Award-winning comedy performer Vikki Stone and West End leading lady Natasha J Barnes teamed up during lockdown. They crafted a revue of the funniest comedy songs in musical theatre for female performers. The show, Funny Gals, will make its debut at the BarnFest, the Barn Theatre's premiere outdoor festival in Cirencester. We spoke to them about the show, wild swimming and returning to performing for live audiences.

Today, the Evening Standard announces the 2019 shortlist for the 65th Evening Standard Theatre Awards in association with Michael Kors. Across nine award categories, the shortlist features the biggest names and emerging talents from the London stage over the last twelve months. Among the contenders are some strong commercial hits that have transferred or are about to move onto the West End or Broadway a?' including Betrayal, Death of a Salesman, Fiddler on the Roof, The Son and Sweat.
