Theatre Bay Area, one of the largest regional performing arts service organizations in North America, has announced the finalists of the 2019 TBA Awards. The sixth-annual TBA Awards Celebration will take place on Monday, Nov. 4 at the Herbst Theatre (401 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco).

 HGTV has added two more special guest stars to the lineup for its epic reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition—HGTV's David Bromstad (My Lottery Dream Home) and Food Network's Tyler Florence (The Great Food Truck Race). With award-winning actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson leading the charge, David and Tyler will work alongside volunteers and other experts, including the show's regularly appearing designers Breegan Jane, Carrie Locklyn and Darren Keefe, to help execute extraordinary, life-changing home transformations for families.

Due to audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre (FST) announces the extension of its Summer Cabaret, Who Loves You: Musical Tribute to Frankie Valli and Beyond. Produced in association with Sharon Klein Productions, Who Loves You is a celebration of the music of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, one of the most successful groups in music history. Called a?oeDynamitea?? and a?oeSharpa?? by The Observer, this high-energy music revue features the signature songs and dance moves of The Four Seasons and the musicians they inspired. Renaissance Theaterworks (RTW) will kick off its 27th season themed, a?oeTransformation,a?? with Jen Silverman's 2015 dramedy, THE ROOMMATE. Ucross, a prestigious artist residency program and creative laboratory for the arts, and the Alley Theatre, one of America's leading regional theatres, today announced an innovative new collaboration in support of theatre artists. The Calidore String Quartet celebrates its tenth anniversary and the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's birth by performing the complete Beethoven String Quartets at the University of Buffalo, University of Toronto and University of Delaware in concerts throughout the 2019-20 season. The Calidore will also take part in a complete cycle of Beethoven String Quartets at the Colburn School in Los Angeles where the quartet was founded.

The San Francisco North Bay's Marquee Theater Journalists Association has released the list of nominees for its 4th Annual MTJA Awards. The Association recognized the exemplary work of Sonoma County theater artists with nominations in eighteen categories that were culled from the sixty-eight productions attended by MTJA members. MF Tomlinson has released the video for his new single 'Sum Of Nothing'. The song is his meditation on the climate crisis and the absurdity of working toward a future that might not be waiting for us. Filmed in LA, the video is set on the very last day on earth and MF is skipping town. 

Trojan Records has today announced details of its latest musical offering a poignant project for the iconic label, 'Love Is All I Bring' is released on Friday 25th October.
