Theatre Pro Rata is producing My Sister in This House by Wendy Kesselman this June at The Crane Theater . This award-winning drama explores the true story of two sisters who murdered their employer and her daughter in 1930s France. What drove these two young women, who served as maids in the household, to such a desperate act? Class conflict, family dysfunction, loneliness, and love all play a role in this complex and devastating tale.

Coeurage Theatre Company, LA's Pay What You Want theatre company, has announced the first production of its 10th Anniversary season, the Los Angeles premiere of Samsara by Lauren Yee, directed by Rebecca Wear. There will be one preview performance on Friday, May 10, at 8:30pm, and opening is set for Saturday, May 11, at 8:30pm. Samsara will play through June 1 at the Met Theatre in Los Angeles.

THEATRE THREE presents The Twenty-Second Annual Festival of One-Act Plays, from April 13 through May 5, 2019, at The Ronald F. Peierls Theatre, on the Second Stage. Selected from over 400 submissions world-wide, these six cutting-edge premieres are guaranteed to entertain and engage.

Two-time Tony-winning actress, singer and dancer Sutton Foster extends her Cafe Carlyle run, June 25-29. She'll also be performing June 11-22. At Cafe Carlyle, she'll perform Broadway favorites and original recordings, focusing on selections from her new album, Take Me to the World, and stories of how being a mother of a two-year-old has informed her work and changed her life.

 Guster will return to Portland, Maine August 9-11, 2019 for the band's third annual On The Ocean Weekend.

The Marsh San Francisco announces additional performances of Not a Genuine Black Man, the longest running solo show in San Francisco theater history by award-winning actor, playwright, and talk show host Brian Copeland. This funny, honest, and harrowing piece recounts the struggles Copeland faced growing up in what was declared one of the most racist suburbs in America.

According to Variety, Tatiana Maslany is set to join Matthew Rhys in the forthcoming HBO series PERRY MASON. Variety shares 'Maslany will play Sister Alice, the leader of the Radiant Assembly of God, preaching three sermons a day to a hungry congregation and a radio audience that spans the country. An entertainer, politician, God's conduit to the City of Angels, Sister Alice wields great power when she speaks, and plans to use it in ways only she can know.'

Second Stage Theater has announced that Emmy and Tony winner Kristin Chenoweth will headline its 40th Birthday Gala with a special concert performance on Monday, May 6 at Hammerstein Ballroom (311 W 34th Street).

Tickets officially go on sale on today for the New York Premiere of #DateMe: An OKCupid Experiment tickets can be purchased online through telecharge.com. The Westside Theatre box office will officially open on June 6, 2019.

The Young Players announce our 2019-2020 Season!

COCA-Center of Creative Arts announces that Jennifer Wintzer will join its leadership team as Artistic Director of Theatre.

ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut will present the H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S Broadway musical THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE as the final production in its wildly successful inaugural season, with performances from May 30 - June 23, 2019.  

The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) and the Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA) are pleased to announce that the 25th annual Critics' Choice Awards will air LIVE on The CW Network on Sunday, January 12, 2020 (7:00-10:00p.m. Live ET/ Delayed PT), with acclaimed film, television, and stage star Taye Diggs returning as the event's host. The show will continue its combined Film and Television awards format, honoring the finest in both cinematic and televised/streaming achievement, and take place once again at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.
