Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced the cast and creative team for the American premiere of The Great Wave written by Francis Turnly and directed by Mark Wing-Davey.

WP Theater and Second Stage Theater have announced casting for the world premiere of Alexis Scheer's OUR DEAR DEAD DRUG LORD. Directed by Whitney White, the production will feature CARMEN BERKELEY, DANIEL DUQUE-ESTRADA, ALYSSA MAY GOLD, REBECCA JIMENEZ and MALIKA SAMUEL. One role remains to be cast and will be announced at a later date.

Nobody Loves You and Band Geeks composer-lyricist Gaby Alter celebrates the release of his band Yes Gabriel's new album with a special show at Rockwood Music Hall Stage 2, on July 10th at 8 pm (196 Allen Street in Manhattan.) The band features Broadway pit musicians Alec Berlin (guitarist for Come From Away and American Idiot) and Jay Mack (drummer for the Lincoln Center revival of Falsettos.)

Written by BESS WOHL and directed by MICHAEL GREIF, MAKE BELIEVE will feature KIM FISCHER, SUSANNAH FLOOD, RYAN FOUST, HARRISON FOX, MAREN HEARY, BRAD HEBERLEE, and SAMANTHA MATHIS. The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for the world premiere of What You Are, a Globe-commissioned new play by JC Lee and the second show in the 2018-2019 Season developed in the Powers New Voices Festival. Directed by Patricia McGregor, What You Are will run May 30 - June 30, 2019 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run May 30 - June 5. Opening night is Thursday, June 6 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets start at $30.00 and are on sale now. Queer|Art, NYC's home for the creative and professional development of LGBTQ+ artists, is pleased to announce the new Mentors for the 2019-2020 program cycle of Queer|Art|Mentorship (QAM). Applications open May 12th.The Mentorship program is the cornerstone of Queer|Art's activity, providing a platform of support for LGBTQ+ artists focused on creative issues and long-term sustainability of artistic practice. Over the course of a year-long exchange, the program helps to forge new relationships between early-career and established LGBTQ+ artists and curators, bridging professional and social thresholds that often isolate artists by generation and discipline.
