Ensemble Arts Philly and The Shubert Organization will present the Philadelphia premiere of Shucked at the Forrest Theatre from April 21 through May 3, 2026.

Sea Dog Theater will present its Spring 2026 Reading Series, featuring notable performers such as Bill Irwin, Erin Layton, and more. The series aims to showcase a diverse range of dramatic readings, engaging audiences with powerful narratives and seasoned actors.

At first glance, Shucked doesn’t seem like a show that should work. A Broadway musical about corn, packed with puns and country music, sounds like it might wear thin fast. But during its stop at the Orpheum Theatre, this touring production proves that beneath the dad jokes and folksy charm is a surprisingly smart and generous piece of musical theatre.

Broadway in Columbus has announced that tickets for Shucked, the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, will go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 24. The production will play eight performances at the Ohio Theatre from April 7–12, 2026.

SHUCKED will play a limited engagement at BroadwaySF’s Curran Theatre beginning Tuesday, September 9 and performing through Sunday, October 5, 2025.
