Due to the high audience demand, Florida Studio Theatre adds three more 9pm performances to the hit cabaret show, YESTERDAY, and extends its third Winter Mainstage show, OUTSIDE MULLINGAR. Additional shows of Yesterday will be held on March 8 at 9pm, March 22 at 9pm, and April 5 at 9pm. OUTSIDE MULLINGAR is now held over through April 2.
The British are coming! FST celebrates 20 years of Cabaret with the opening of its second Winter Cabaret show of the season, Yesterday. Developed by Richard Hopkins, Rebecca Hopkins, and Jim Prosser, the show opens in Florida Studio Theatre's Goldstein Cabaret on Friday, January 9, 2016. Playwrights Horizons in association with The Actors Theatre of Louisville presented Lucas Hnath's new play The Christians this past fall in New York to great acclaim. The controversial play with contradictory arguments about God and heaven/hell has now docked at the Mark Taper Forum through January 10, 2016. Judging by the opening night audience - you could hear a pin drop - The Christians with its crisp dialogue, stellar cast and taut direction is a surefire winner.

Florida Studio Theatre's Summer Mainstage Season kicks off with the wayward, witty world of Inspired Lunacy, the Tour de Force production of The Hound of the Baskervilles, and the funny and heart-warming play, Over the River and Through the Woods. The Summer Cabaret Season will consist of the eclectic musical stylings of Six Guitars, by Chase Padgett and Jay Hopkins, the boot-tapping songs from Kings of Country, by Eric Scott Anthony, and the hip-swinging, hand-jiving sounds of The Swingaroos, by Kimberly Hawkey & Assaf Gleizner.

Harlem's Fashion Row (HFR) will present Style Beat, its inaugural event in Los Angeles during Grammy Awards weekend. The red carpet event will take place on the afternoon of Friday, February 6, 2015 at an exclusive private estate. HFR is a unique movement founded to increase diversity in fashion by producing events to educate, stimulate, and advance opportunities for emerging designers of color. Collections by four multicultural fashion designers will be showcased to a select group of 250 guests. The featured designers are the legendary L.A.-based designer Kevan Hall, custom menswear designerWaraire Boswell, and emerging designers, Joseph Bethune and 'Project Runway' finalist Kimberly Goldson.
