Platten recorded “Mercy” in Nashville, co-producing the song with Jason Evigan (Maroon 5, Selena Gomez and Rüfüs du Sol) and Gian Stone (Meghan Trainor). They were joined, she recalls, by “the live band of our dreams, Aaron Sterling on the drums and the band behind Kacey Musgraves' brilliant Golden Hour on the guitars, bass and Hammond.

The special is hosted by E! News’ Justin Sylvester and Keltie Knight along with Carolina Bermudez and Courtney Lopez. The special will take an in-depth look at the year’s most memorable pop culture moments as well as the best in music, fashion, movies, entertainment and more along with a look ahead at what to expect in 2024. 

The cast of Monty Python's Spamalot will be performing on the TODAY Show this Friday, December 1. Their first performance will be during the first two hours of the episode, starting at 8:00 a.m. They will then return for a second performance during the 9:00 a.m. hour. The cast features James Monroe Iglehart, Taran Killam, Ethan Slater, and more.

The TODAY Show has announced the lineup for its annual Broadway week, featuring four days of performances from the latest Broadway shows. The week will feature performances from Bad Cinderella, Ragtime, Ben Platt and Micaela Diamond in Parade, and Shucked. Schmigadoon's Dove Cameron, Keegan Michael-Key, and Cecily Strong will also appear.
