“Better Part of Me,” the new song from SYML—the solo project of singer, songwriter and producer Brian Fennell—featuring bluegrass vocalist and fiddler Sara Watkins of Nickel Creek and Watkins Family Hour. “Better Part of Me” follows recent single “Howling” featuring Lucius, which debuted alongside a video directed by Benjamin Lussier.  

Frequent onstage guests and collaborators actor John C. Reilly, and singer-songwriters Nikka Costa, Margaret Glaspy, Gaby Moreno, Willie Watson and Mike Viola will join brother and sister duo Sean and Sara Watkins for this exclusive Watkins Family Hour Christmas show.

The Day My Father Died, the new album from SYML—the solo project of singer, songwriter and producer Brian Fennell. A new track, “Howling” featuring Lucius, is out now with an accompanying video. The video, filmed in Montreal, was directed by Benjamin Lussier and produced by Parce Que Films.

Produced by fellow GRAMMY-winner Joe Henry (Bonnie Raitt, Rhiannon Giddens), Age Of Apathy was recorded through a unique residency with Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. Working both on-site at their studio with GRAMMY-nominated engineer Darren Schneider while collaborating entirely remotely with Henry.

From the very beginning of Sara and Sean Watkins’ Watkins Family Hour shows at Los Angeles’s Largo nightclub, their focus has been on musical community; building, sharing, and growing.

“I Remember Everything,” the last song recorded by legendary singer, songwriter, musician and performer John Prine, is out today.
