The new cast recording for the critically acclaimed revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, nominated for 11 Tony Awards®, is available digitally today, Friday, June 8.

The time has come for the 63rd Annual Drama Desk Awards, hosted by Michael Urie, June 3 (8:00 PM) at The Town Hall in Manhattan.

Producers Roy Furman and Scott Rudin announced today that the critically acclaimed revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel, now nominated for 11 Tony Awards®, will release a new cast recording. Available digitally on Friday, June 8, the album will be in stores on Friday, July 13.

The Broadway revival of Carousel shared some exciting news on Twitter this evening, as they shared a behind the scenes look of the cast in the recording studio prepping to capture this exquisite revival for all time on its very own cast recording. Denzel Washington appeared on CBS Sunday Morning to talk about his current run in The Iceman Cometh on Broadway, as well as his incredibly long and diverse career.

Eugene O'Neill's ferocious American classic, The Iceman Cometh, starring Tony Award winner, two-time Academy Award winner, and 2018 Academy Award nominee Denzel Washington opens tonight on Broadway Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

In the past few weeks, we've watched the nominations roll in. Today the final crop of nominees have been revealed, all leading to next week's ultimate announcement- the 2018 Tony nominations.

Currently in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street) is Eugene O'Neill's ferocious American classic, The Iceman Cometh, starring Tony Award winner, two-time Academy Award winner, and 2018 Academy Award nominee Denzel Washington. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 26 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Carousel and The Actors Fund announced today that the new hit revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein's classic musical will host a special Mondaymatinee performace on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Imperial Theatre (249 West 45th St.), with proceeds to benefit The Actors Fund.

Friday night at the Edison Ballroom The 2018 TDF/Irene Sharaff were presented for excellence in theatrical costume design. These annual awards honor the designers and craftspeople who costume theatre and dance the world over. This year's awardees were coincidentally masters from the world of dance.

Justin Peck is a '21-century sensation' when it comes to the dance world. His most recent project was choreographing the current revival of Carousel on Broadway. Denzel Washington is currently on stage in Eugene O'Neill's ferocious American classic, The Iceman Cometh, but apparently he almost took on a different iconic role. In an interview with The New York Times, Washington says it came down to Iceman and King Lear.
