Santo Loquasto has won the 2017 Tony Award for Best Costume Design of a Musical for HELLO, DOLLY!.

Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers and commentators for media covering New York theatre announced today its award winners for the 2016-17 season in 27 categories.

Casting for the first two weeks of American Ballet Theatre's 2017 Spring Season at the Metropolitan Opera House was announced today by Artistic Director Kevin McKenzie.

The new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! starring Bette Midler has already made a habit out of breaking the house record at the Shubert Theatre, and now it has had the best week in the history of the entire Shubert Organization.

This season, Manhattan Theatre Club stunned and excited theatregoers when it was announced that Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon, two of the most formidable females of stage and screen, would be returning to the boards in an unconventional new revival of Lillian Hellman's family drama, The Little Foxes.

The new Broadway production of Hello, Dolly! starring Bette Midler has just, in its first full week of regular (non-preview) performances, posted its highest weekly gross yet, shattering the house record of the Sam S. Shubert Theatre for the third time since it began preview performances. 

The Washington Ballet's latest program, on view through this weekend, is especially rich with the work of three great choreographers on display; this talented ensemble has never looked more lively and inspired, and it is a joyful evening not to be missed.
