Fox has ordered four drama pilots to series for the 2019-2020 season. The lineup includes cop/serial killer drama Prodigal Son, starring Tom Payne and Michael Sheen; John Slattery's AI drama neXt; police drama Deputy, starring Stephen Dorff; and the Annie Weisman/Jason Katims sister drama, based on an Australian format.

The prestigious honor of performing the opening concerts of the 2019 Salzburg Festival in Austria on July 20 and 21 will be one highlight of the Los Angeles Master Chorale's Spring/Summer tour of its acclaimed production of Orlando di Lasso's Lagrime di San Pietro directed by Peter Sellars. The tour will feature 21 Master Chorale singers conducted by Grant Gershon, Kiki & David Gindler Artistic Director.

Denver's trash-pop princesses Kissing Party today shared a charmingly DIY video for 'Wasted Worlds Apart' ahead of their album Mom & Dad, outMay 17. FLOOD Magazine premiered the video, which follows singles “Jesse” and “A Little Star.”

Ebner-Page Productions today annonuced the New York Premiere Off-Broadway run of Siegmund Fuchs' IN THE CLOSET, a stirring dramedy about ageism in the gay community that will begin a limited Off-Broadway engagement Wednesday, May 29, 2019 continuing through June 16, 2019 at Theatre Row's Studio Theatre, (410 West 42nd Street).  Eli Carpenter will direct.  Mr. Fuchs lives in Washington, D.C., is an attorney for the United States Department of Justice, and his academic work focuses on abuse victims.

Community Arts Music Association (CAMA) of Santa Barbara will celebrate its centennial season with a free community "100th Birthday Bash" at the County Courthouse Sunken Garden from 1 to 4 pm on Sunday, May 19. Sponsored by SAGE Publishing, the Elaine F. Stepanek Foundation, and the City of Santa Barbara, the event will feature musical presentations by Opera Santa Barbara, the Music Academy of the West's Sing! children's chorus program, the Westmont College Music Department, UC Santa Barbara's Department of Music, and members of the Santa Barbara Symphony.
