FringeArts' outdoor summer movie series returns for three Wednesday night screenings on July 22, July 29, and August 5.

Leon's True Colors Theatre Company and Jujamcyn Theaters have announced today that the 12th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition will cancel its in-person ceremony (originally scheduled for Monday, May 4th) and shift to a virtual celebration in light of the ongoing health crisis.

Tonight at 8/7c, Jeffery Deaver's Best Selling Lincoln Rhyme series premieres on NBC in the new mid-winter show Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector. The premiere is based on the first novel in the series, entitled THE BONE COLLECTOR.

Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company and Jujamcyn Theatres announce the winners for the 11th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition National Finals, held on Monday, May 6th at the August Wilson Theatre in New York. The first-place winner was Trajan Clayton from Perry, GA; second-place, Katara Willis from Buffalo, NY; and third place, Abad Viquez from Chicago, IL.

Kenny Leon's True Colors Theatre Company and Jujamcyn Theaters announce that the 11th Annual August Wilson Monologue Competition will take place on Monday, May 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the August Wilson Theatre (245 West 52nd Street).

Fox 2000 has bought the movie rights to “The Hate U Give” author Angie Thomas's upcoming novel “On the Come Up,” according to Variety.

Today, Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) announced the initial line-up for the 2019 SCAD aTVfest, Atlanta's only festival dedicated to television. Now in its seventh year, the university's annual signature event celebrating the television industry will be held at SCADshow on February 7 - 9, 2019. Entertainment Weekly (EW) will serve as the first ever Official Media Partner for SCAD aTVfest.
