The Neil Simon Theatre box office is officially open for the highly anticipated National Theatre Production of Tony Kushner's epic and seminal masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes. This strictly limited, 18-week engagement, now in rehearsals, will begin performances on Friday, February 23, 2018, with an official opening on Sunday, March 25, 2018.

BroadwayWorld has learned that Tony-nominee Beth Malone (Fun Home) joins the cast of Broadway's Angels in America. She will play at select performances in the role of 'The Angel.' Also new to the cast is: Patrick Andrews, Glynis Bell, Amy Blackman, Curt James, Rowan Ian Seamus Magee, Mark Nelson, Matty Oaks, Genesis Oliver, Jane Pfitsch, Lee Aaron Rosen, Ron Todorowski, Silvia Vrskova and Lucy York.

Each year, six to eight million dogs and Cats will enter shelters and rescue groups, but only about half will be adopted. To encourage shelter pet adoption during the holiday season, the cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic Broadway hit Cats have teamed up with The Shelter Pet Project to help these furry friends find their forever homes. As part of the partnership, the Cats cast took part in a purr-fect PSA to reinforce the importance of shelter pet adoption and how adoption has personally impacted their lives. Watch the PSA below!

Broadway Dance Lab (BDL), a choreographic incubator supporting new works of dance-driven theatre, has announced that Brook Wendle (Paramour, Gossip Girl), Caleb Teicher (Dance Magazine's 25 to Watch ), Abdul Latif (Lincoln Center Institute artist-in-residence), and Katie Rose McLaughlin (Designated Movement Company), will join artistic director Josh Prince as choreographers for the company's Fall 2017 Cycle. The Lab is set to begin on Oct. 30, and will run through Dec. 15.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's iconic musical Cats will welcome four new 'Jellicle Cats' to the junkyard.

Producers The Shubert Organization and The Nederlander Organization announced today that the first-ever Broadway revival of CATS will play its final performance at 8 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Neil Simon Theatre (250 W 52nd Street) after 16 previews and 593 regular performances. Preview performances of CATS began Thursday, July 14, 2016 followed by a Sunday, July 31, 2016 opening night.

Over her storied career, Twyla Tharp has created over 160 dances across genres, choreographed for film (from Miloš Forman to James Brooks) and Broadway (with music ranging from Billy Joel to Bob Dylan). She's received a Tony Award, 19 honorary doctorates, a MacArthur Fellowship, among other honors (see below).

As previously announced, Broadway's Finding Neverland, the magical story of how Peter became Pan, will soon be leaving the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 46th Street, between Broadway and 8th Avenue), sailing off August 21, 2016 for a First National U.S. Tour and forthcoming 2017 West End production.

The Twyla Tharp Fiftieth Anniversary Tour concludes its 10-weeks of cross-country performances with a week-long season at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, tonight, November 17-22, where it will present a double bill of New York premieres: 'Preludes and Fugues' and 'Yowzie.' Both works were commissioned in part by The Joyce Theater, which is presenting the Tharp season at The Koch.

The Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University presents Twyla Tharp – 50th Anniversary Tour including two Chicago premieres, “Preludes and Fugues” and “Yowzie” this week, November 5 – 8, at the historic Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Congress Parkway. In a momentous co-commission with Ravinia Festival, as well as four other dance presenters in four other cities, the Auditorium is thrilled to present these two new works by world-renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp. Instead of creating the expected for her 50th Anniversary Tour - a retrospective of her greatest hits - Twyla Tharp's restless spirit demanded she choreograph two brand new works for her troupe of 13 dancers. The Bass Concert Hall performance will showcase these two new dances, Preludes and Fugues and Yowzie.
