ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA is one of those mandatory high school reading Shakespeare classics that never gets old. Though it is a tragedy, Orlando Shakes production is glamorous, entertaining and extremely palatable. Casting, costumes, and classic story come together to make ANTONY AND CLEOPATRA the crown jewel of the season.

The Book of Will, directed by Davis McCallum, takes inspiration from the true story of Shakespeare's first folio, mainly compiled by his friends and fellow actors Henry Condell and John Heminges a few years after Shakespeare's death, following the death of another actor, Richard Burbage, who seemingly held Will's entire repertoire in his head.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF is thrilled to present William Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra featuring Michael Dorn as Antony and Caralyn Kozlowski as Cleopatra. Dorn, best known for starring as Lieutenant Commander Worf in the syndicated television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Kozlowski, long-running stage actor with over 40 professional theater credits, will perform in Antony and Cleopatra from March 29 - April 30, 2017 in the Goldman Theater. The U.S. premiere of Nick Dear's adaptation Frankenstein will be directed by Sam Buntrock, returning to the DCPA Theatre Company after directing the 2013 World Premiere of Ed, Downloaded. Buntrock's directing credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Broadway, West End, Menier and 5th Avenue Seattle). The production won 5 Olivier Awards including Outstanding Musical Production and was nominated for 9 Tony Awards including Best Director. The Colorado Theatre Guild's 11th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 18, 2016 at the PACE Center, 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue in Parker, Colorado. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by an after-party. Tickets are $23 for CTG members (limit 2 per person online with the code Henry2016), $30 non-members or $50 VIP.
