The Colorado Theatre Guild's 14th Annual Henry Awards will take place Monday, July 22, 2019 at the Lone Tree Arts Center, located at 10075 Commons St. Lone Tree, CO 80124. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with cocktails and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m., followed by a catered reception at the Lone Tree Arts Center. Tickets are $35 for CTG members, $40 non-members or $50 at the door. Tickets go on sale Tuesday June 18, 2019 at 1:00PM MDT through the Lone Tree Arts Center website at www.LoneTreeArtsCenter.org or by calling the box office at 720-509-1000.

Local Theater Company (Local) is pleased to announce initial casting for Local Lab, Boulder, Co's premiere festival of new American plays. Now in its eighth year, Local Lab features three new plays including Flame Broiled. or the ugly play by Rodney Hicks (original cast of Rent and Come from Away on Broadway), Orange Crush by Daniel Goldstein (presented in partnership with Roundabout Theatre Company) and Discount Ghost Stories, a new musical by Alexander Sage Oyen and Jessica Kahkoska.

The Old Globe's 2017 2018 Season continues with the world premiere of Jos Cruz Gonz lez's American Mariachi, a heartwarming comedy with live music. Directed by Globe favorite and San Diego native James V squez (Rich Girl, Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!) and presented in association with Denver Center for the Performing Arts Theatre Company, American Mariachi will run March 23 to April 29, 2018 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

The Book of Will, directed by Davis McCallum, takes inspiration from the true story of Shakespeare's first folio, mainly compiled by his friends and fellow actors Henry Condell and John Heminges a few years after Shakespeare's death, following the death of another actor, Richard Burbage, who seemingly held Will's entire repertoire in his head.

Orlando Shakespeare Theater (Orlando Shakes) in Partnership with UCF is thrilled to present William Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra featuring Michael Dorn as Antony and Caralyn Kozlowski as Cleopatra. Dorn, best known for starring as Lieutenant Commander Worf in the syndicated television series Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Kozlowski, long-running stage actor with over 40 professional theater credits, will perform in Antony and Cleopatra from March 29 - April 30, 2017 in the Goldman Theater. Denver Center for the Performing Arts' (DCPA) Theatre Company announces full casting for Lucas Hnath's The Christians, Lauren Gunderson's The Book of Will and Tira Palmquist's Two Degrees.

The U.S. premiere of Nick Dear's adaptation Frankenstein will be directed by Sam Buntrock, returning to the DCPA Theatre Company after directing the 2013 World Premiere of Ed, Downloaded. Buntrock's directing credits include Sunday in the Park with George (Broadway, West End, Menier and 5th Avenue Seattle). The production won 5 Olivier Awards including Outstanding Musical Production and was nominated for 9 Tony Awards including Best Director.
