LOCAL Theater Company to Host 2016 LOCAL Lab New Play Fest, 3/11-13

LOCAL Theater Company, under the artistic leadership of Pesha Rudnick, will welcome three playwrights from across the country to Boulder for the 2016 LOCAL Lab New Play Fest. The Arvada Center to Present Arthur Miller's THE ARCHBISHOP'S CEILING, 3/24-4/19

The Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities will open the regional premiere of Arthur Miller's The Archbishop's Ceiling directed by Brett Aune in the Black Box Theater on March 24, running through April 19, 2015. Performances are Tuesday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at 1:00 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 p.m., Previews are March 22 - 24 at 7:30 p.m. nightly.

Stories on Stage to Present RED, WHITE AND SOMETIMES BLUE, 2/8

Stories on Stage, in a collaboration with the Center for Digital Storytelling, presents "Red, White and Sometimes Blue" Sunday, February 8 at 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Su Teatro Cultural and Performing Arts Center, 721 Santa Fe Drive, Denver, CO 80204. Single tickets are $28. Student tickets are $15; tickets for groups of 10 or more are $23 per person and LoDough (scholarship) tickets are also available. AVENUE Q Opens Tonight at Theatre Aspen

Theatre Aspen begins its 29th summer season with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Avenue Q tonight, in the new Hurst Theatre, situated along the Rio Grande River. The theatre is unveiling a new lobby facility to complement the Hurst Theatre, which was erected last summer. Next up is the musical How I Became a Pirate, based on the beloved children's book by Melinda Long (July 10th - Aug 18th) and the film noir thriller The 39 Steps (July 25th - Aug 18th).

Theatre Aspen Announces Casting for 2012 Season

Theatre Aspen today announced casting for its summer season, opening with the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Avenue Q, on June 25th. The season also includes the new musical How I Became a Pirate, based on the beloved children's book by Melinda Long (July 10th - Aug 18th) and the film noir thriller The 39 Steps (July 25th - Aug 18th).

Theatre Aspen Presents ANNIE, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS; Tickets On Sale Now

Tickets are now on sale for two winter productions at Theatre Aspen, an award-winning professional theatre in the Rocky Mountains. Theatre Aspen School presents the Howard Ashman and Alan Menken musical Little Shop of Horrors at the Aspen District Theatre from December 2nd - 11th, followed by an encore presentation of the beloved musical Annie, by Thomas Meehan (book), Charles Strouse (music) and Martin Charnin (lyrics). Annie played to sold-out houses in Aspen this summer, and was the largest musical ever produced by the organization, now in its twenty-eighth year. Annie will run from December 16th - 23rd, at the historic Wheeler Opera House in downtown Aspen.

AMERICAN NIGHT Plays Denver Center Theatre Company’s Ricketson Theatre

AMERICAN NIGHT: THE BALLAD OF JUAN JOSÉ, by Richard Montoya developed by Culture Clash and Jo Bonney, will play the Denver Center Theatre Company's Ricketson Theatre tonight - November 20 (opening night Thursday, October 13.)
