It was musically 'back to the future' as an icon of popular music, Bronx born, California based Melissa Manchester thrilled old and new fans at Feinstein's/54 Below last night.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Crystal Monee Hall (RENT, The Mickey Heart Band) and Marcus Paul James (RENT, In The Heights, Greatest Showman) in "Where Is The Love" a concert celebrating the music of Donny Hathaway and Roberta Flack.

Broadway In Chicago, the producers of HEARTBREAK HOTEL, and Authentic Brands Group (ABG), owner of Elvis Presley Enterprises today, are delighted to announce the full casting for HEARTBREAK HOTEL, a musical premiere that will ignite the stage of the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) beginning June 30, 2018.

The eighth and final production of Mosaic Theater Company's upcoming fourth season will be Twisted Melodies, a critically acclaimed one-man show about the life and music of troubled genius Donny Hathaway performed by the multi-talented Kelvin Roston Junior. Twisted Melodies is being produced by Baltimore Center Stage and Congo Square Theatre Company in association with The Apollo Theater and Mosaic in a unique three-city co-production.

The Apollo Theater today announced that it will bring to its iconic stage two new performances that continue its commitment to articulating and projecting the African American narrative through arts and culture.  In October 2018, The Apollo will celebrate the 50th anniversary of "Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud," the Godfather of Soul James Brown's seminal Black Power anthem, with the premiere of Say It Loud - I'm Black and I'm Proud at 50 under the musical direction of six-time GRAMMY®- Award-winner Christian McBride.  In May of 2019, in a co-production between The Apollo, Baltimore Center Stage, and Mosaic Theater, Kelvin Roston Jr. will pay homage to Donny Hathaway in the New York premiere of the one man play Twisted Melodies.  Tickets for both productions will go on sale July 1st.

FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents Melissa Manchester in The Fellas on July 13-15, 2018. Let's hear it for the boys!  More than 25 years after releasing her 1989 Tribute album that honored the great female singers who influenced her, Manchester turns the tables with The Fellas in a nod to the legendary male vocalists, including Frank Sinatra, Johnny Mathis, Tony Bennett and Dean Martin, and the iconic songs they made famous.

Summer is upon us and we're getting in the mood with the band of reggae legend Bob Marley, The Wailers, kicking off the month of June at Blue Note Hawaii. Another reggae icon, Maxi Priest, returns to the stage by popular demand and six-time GRAMMY(R)-winning jazz bassist Christian McBride makes his Blue Note Hawaii debut. Comedy takes center stage with the return of comedian Rita Rudner and the hilarious wellRED Comedy Tour: From Dixie With Love Featuring: Trae Crowder, Drew Morgan & Corey Ryan Forrester.

Mostly Musicals Ltd presents the reimagined musical Renew Ya Hallelujah by Teddy Hayes from Monday 29 October to Saturday 3 November, 7.30pm at Theatro Technis Theatre in Camden, London.

Momentum Artists (http://www.momentumartists.com/), a management agency representing contemporary musicians, is proud to present Secret Jazz NYC Cabaret with Mark Berman. Berman, on piano, will feature his original songs as well as his jazz arrangements of pop tunes, standards and new works, and will be joined by David Richards (Hamilton) on bass and Joe Nero (Peter Cincotti) on drums. A special guest for the evening is Darryl Tookes, an accomplished musician and collaborator of such megastars as Michael Jackson, Sting, Paul Simon, and many others.

The Columbus Symphony kicks off the 2018 Nationwide Picnic with the Pops on Saturday, June 16, with multi-platinum rock group, Little River Band. The concert will also be the Columbus debut of new CSO Principal Pops Conductor Stuart Chafetz, one of the leading pops conductors in America today, who will helm most of the Picnic with the Pops concerts this season.

For the final concert event in their spring season, Cortland Repertory Theatre Downtown presents NYC sensation Amy Lynn and The Honey Men in "A Woman Left Lonely - A Celebration of Janis Joplin". This incredible concert will be seen in Cortland for one night only on Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $35.00 and a beer/wine cash bar will be available.

The Hostos Center for the Arts and Culture presents the New Cuban Express and the Steven Kroon Latin Jazz Sextet as part of a Latin jazz double bill in the Repertory Theater of Hostos Community College, 450 Grand Concourse in the Bronx, on Saturday, May 5, 7:30 PM.

Robbi Kumalo will pay homage to Nina Simone at Rockwood Music Hall, Sunday May 20, 2018. The show will begin at 7pm, doors open 6:30 pm.

Acclaimed Jazz harpist-pianist-vocalist Corky Hale will present a 103rd Birthday Show honoring Billie Holiday on Sunday, April 8 at the Catalina Jazz Club in Hollywood.  Hale is one of the few people still performing who was actually a close friend of Holiday's, playing for her on the 'Stars of Jazz' TV show, and on several recordings and live appearances, and this will be her fourth annual birthday salute to the singer.

Blue Note Hawaii welcomes some of music's most renowned artists this month, kicking off with the 60th birthday celebration of Loretta Ables Sayre with special guest star Robert Cazimero. The Hawaii News Now Jazz Legends series continues with Freddy Cole, one of the most influential jazz singers in history and the younger brother of musical icon Nat "King" Cole. Local favorite and the 2017 GRAMMY Award winner from Hawaii Kalani Pe'a is up next, followed by genre-bending blues and bluegrass artists Dirty Cello. Blayne Asing & Alx Kawakami join forces for two nights and innovative African artist Vieux Farka Toure has his Blue Note Hawaii debut. Streetlight Cadence returns home to Hawaii for two nights, followed by artist in residence, Robert Cazimero. Next up is a round of local talent with shows by Keauhou, Josh Tatofi and Makana, which is a fundraiser for the Willie K Cancer Fund. Mike Lewis continues his series of tribute shows paying homage to Ray Charles, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, the music of Roberta Flack, as well as presenting a Big Band Extravaganza, featuring some of the area's most talented high school and collegiate level jazz bands. Josh Kaye and Friends will celebrate the music of Stax Records, which launched the careers of Issac Hayes, Wilson Picket, Otis Redding, Sam & Dave and many more. Gypsy 808 will present the music of Django Reinhardt and the month ends with a bang when HIROSHIMA returns to the Blue Note stage.

Newcomer, 11-year old rock n roll prodigy, Kjersti Long will headline Friday, March 23rd at 6pm at The Bitter End on Bleecker. Accompanied by Nashville's Born Crooked; Hunter Wolfe (guitar, vocals) and Are Wolfe (drums), Kjersti, pronounced 'care-stee' will perform classic rock and original songs at the iconic club.
