Sheffield Theatres today announced the third director of the trilogy of new plays, Rock/Paper/Scissors by Chris Bush. Elin Schofield joins the previously announced Robert Hastie (Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres) and Anthony Lau (RTYDS Associate Artistic Director of Sheffield Theatres) in the creative team.

Artistic Director, Sean Foley has today added to Birmingham Rep's 2022 programme of work. The Rep's offering as part of the Birmingham 2022 Festival, a 6 month celebration of culture that surrounds the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, will include the newly announced, critically acclaimed production from Australia Counting and Cracking plus the youth driven Festival Uncommon Riches. Counting and Cracking arrives at The Rep as one of only two venues in the UK to host this epic story.

Sheffield Theatres announces, as part of its 50th anniversary year, the cast of Human Nurture: a co-production with Theatre Centre, running in the Studio theatre from Wednesday 26 January – Saturday 12 February 2022 and in local Sheffield schools as part of a wider outreach project, led by director Rob Watt and Theatre Centre. Lucas Button (Run Sister Run) and Justice Ritchie (Dungeons and Dragons) will play the two leading roles, with Neeta Sarl (Love Reign) as the DJ.
