The New York premiere production of THE VAGRANT TRILOGY is being presented at The Public Theater. THE VAGRANT TRILOGY is a Public Theater commission written by Emerging Writers Group alumna Mona Mansour and directed by Obie Award winner Mark Wing-Davey.

The Public Theater will begin performances for the New York premiere of THE VAGRANT TRILOGY on Friday, April 8 with a Joseph Papp Free Performance, after the cancellation of the 2020 production just five days before the first performance and a two-year postponement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

PlayCo will present a free, virtual roundtable discussion entitled Story as Resistance: The Joys, The Heartbreak, and the Food, this Sunday, December 20, at 2pm EST (1pm CST, 11am PST), as part of the company’s Idea Lab Series.

This Is Who I Am is a compelling emotional tale, defying our expected limits of technology to bring us a deep, profound human connection over a video call. With clever, layered uses of language and deeply poignant discussions, Amir Nizar Zuabi’s play shows us that human connection isn’t just possible under these circumstances, but able to thrive.

Amir Nizar Zuabi's This Is Who I Am, directed by Evren Odcikin, opens officially on Sunday, December 13, at 4pm EST. This world premiere run of the play-all performances of which take place live-now runs December 5 - January 3.

PlayCo, as the kickoff to its 20th year, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, in association with American Repertory Theater at Harvard University, the Guthrie Theater, and Oregon Shakespeare Festival, will present Amir Nizar Zuabi's This Is Who I Am, directed by Evren Odcikin, November 29 - December 27.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for the New York premiere of THE VAGRANT TRILOGY, a Public Theater commission, written by Emerging Writers Group Alumna Mona Mansour. Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, THE VAGRANT TRILOGY begins performances in the LuEsther Hall on Tuesday, March 17 with a Joseph Papp Free Preview performance, and will run through Sunday, April 26 with an official press opening on Wednesday, April 1.
