Gayle King to Host Live Call-In Show on SiriusXM

Today SiriusXM announced that Gayle King, three-time Emmy award-winning broadcaster, co-host of CBS This Morning, and Editor-at-large of O, The Oprah Magazine, will host a live weekly program exclusively on SiriusXM Stars channel 109.

The Broad Stage to Present MUSIC MORNINGS

The Reverend Shawn Amos delivering his message of joyful blues, bassist Jennifer Leitham, and saxophonist Mindi Abair are featured in a living room recital on The Broad Stage presents The Broad Stage Music Mornings, a new, recurring program featuring live performances from intimate rooms.  

Broad Stage Presents Red Hen Press Poetry Hour 4/8

The Broad Stage presents the Red Hen Press Poetry Hour, a recurring digital program, the first for both organizations, via The Broad Stage's Facebook Live. The Saturday, April 11 program at 8:00 p.m. features Richard Blanco, selected by President Barack Obama as the fifth presidential inaugural poet, as well as Francisco Aragón, former City Poet Laureate of West Hollywood Kim Dower, Blas Falconer, and Vandana Khanna reading selections live, with featured pre-recorded videos by Tess Taylor and Gaylord Brewer.

Broadway Theatres to Dim Lights in Memory of Tony Award Winning Producer Margo Lion

The Broadway community mourns the loss of multiple Tony Award® winning producer Margo Lion, who died on January 24, 2020 at age 75. To commemorate her life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of the Jujamcyn Theatres (the Al Hirschfeld, August Wilson, Eugene O'Neill, St. James, and Walter Kerr Theatres) where Ms. Lion often collaborated and worked; as well as the American Airlines, Bernard Jacobs, Helen Hayes, Neil Simon, New Amsterdam, Lincoln Center, Lyric Theatre, and Samuel J. Friedmans; in New York for one minute on Saturday, February 29 at exactly 7:45pm.
