The Jimmy Awards have announced the presenters for the 11th annual awards ceremony taking place on Monday, June 24that 7:30PM at Broadway's Minskoff Theatre.

With Broadway and television actors flooding the stage, the musical has proven to be a shoo-be doo-wop she-bop good time.

Victory Gardens Theater Artistic Director Chay Yew, Executive Director Erica Daniels and Director of New Play Development Skyler Gray announce the lineup for the 2019 IGNITION Festival of New Plays, including The Tasters by Meghan Brown; The Gradient by Steph Del Rosso; [hieroglyph] by Erika Dickerson-Despenza; #NEWSLAVES by Keelay Gipson; Reckoning: Furies from a New Queer Nation by Geraldine Inoa; and They Could Give No Name by Exal Iraheta. The 2019 Festival runs August 2 -4, 2019 at Victory Gardens Theater, located at 2433 N Lincoln Avenue.

The Broadway League has just announced that the 11th annual Jimmy Awards® ceremony will be streamed live in its entirety. Fans can watch the ceremony on The Jimmy Awards Facebook and YouTube pages on Monday, June 24th at 7:30PM ET. Overture Center for the Arts announced today that two Jerry Award 'Outstanding Leading Performance' recipients performed and were selected to advance to The Jimmy Awards, also known as the National High School Musical Theatre Awards (NHSMTA), held in New York City.
