The Cinema Audio Society announces their newly elected CAS Board of Directors. Taking the helm as CAS President is Peter Kurland CAS. Re-elected to their executive positions were Vice President Steve Venezia CAS, Secretary Frank Morrone CAS, and Treasurer Lee Orloff CAS.

Following the triumphant return of the 58th CAS Awards as an in-person event, the Cinema Audio Society announced the results of their March election for the CAS Board of Directors.

The CAS Board of Directors (Production) re-elected are Amanda Beggs, Jeffrey S. Wexler, Mary H. Ellis, and Peter Kurland.  Mark Ulano will be returning to the CAS board and filling the seat left vacant by Peter Devlin.

At the 56th Annual CAS Awards held at the Intercontinental Downtown Los Angeles the CAS President, Karol Urban announced the results of the CAS Board of Directors election. 'It fills me with pride and confidence to see the incredible selection of community leaders and sound professionals our membership has chosen as their newly elected board,' said Urban. 'We are solidified in our commitment to serve our community. I am excited for the future of our organization.'

Nashville theater has always been progressive. Written by Sheldon Kurland, a classically trained musician who studied at Juilliard and was later known for his influence in bringing the lush string sound to Country Music in Nashville (Music City), during the heyday of "the Nashville Sound," this irreverent book casts a humorous light to the somewhat serious world of classical music.
