The Audio Publishers Association (APA) have announced finalists for the 2022 Audie Awards. Finalists include Cynthia Erivo for Best Female Narrator and Lin-Manuel Miranda for Best Male Narrator. Joshua Henry Joins Classical Theatre of Harlem's Bryant Park Picnic Performance

The award-winning Classical Theatre of Harlem has announced programming for their upcoming appearance in the 2021 Picnic Performance series in Bryant Park. CTH will present excerpts from two new works, A Harlem Dream and Langston in Harlem, on Friday September 10 at 7pm. The event is free and open to the public with limited capacity.

The Actors Fund recently announced that SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, producer James Wesley, produce and host Plays in the House as part of its weekly lineup of Stars in the House, a daily online show at 8pm ET. Plays in the House will air special matinee performances at 2pm until Broadway reopens.

SHIFT Will Present Orpheus Chamber Orchestra And The Classical Theatre Of Harlem In A HARLEM DREAM

On Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 8:00pm, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra and The Classical Theatre of Harlem perform the world premiere of A Harlem Dream as part of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Washington Performing Arts' SHIFT: A Festival Of American Orchestras. The festival is a weeklong celebration of the vitality, identity, and extraordinary artistry of North American orchestras through an immersive festival experience in the nation's capital, taking place in Washington, D.C. from March 23-29, 2020.

The Circle Series Concludes Fall Season With BARNUM'S BIRD

Bringing their fall programming to a close with a finish worthy of the big top, producers Circle in the Square Theatre School (Paul Libin, President; Susan Frankel, COO), Pigasus Institute, and Rachel Shuey present The Circle Series staged reading of Barnum's Bird: A Musical Extravaganza! The Story of P.T. Barnum and Jenny Lind. 

THE CIRCLE SERIES Announces October Lineup, Including First Musical Reading

Over the past eight weeks, The Circle Series has brought the theatre community together on Monday evenings to explore developing works and celebrate the classics in a new way. Concluding their first slate of staged readings, producers Circle in the Square Theatre School (Paul Libin, President; Susan Frankel, COO), Pigasus Institute, and Rachel Shuey will present three readings of developing works in October that each explore an historical figure in their own way. The readings are held at Broadway's Circle in the Square and are open to the public. Admission is a suggested donation of $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors, with all proceeds benefiting Circle in the Square Theatre School.
