Good morning, BroadwayWorld! First, we'd like to wish a happy opening to Hillary and Clinton, which officially opens tonight on Broadway!

The 9th Annual Shakespeare's Birthday Sonnet Slam will be held Friday, April 26th from 1pm-4pm at the 9th floor Lounge at the Riverside Church Campus in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. The Sonnet Slam features 154 readers of all ages and abilities performing all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets in numerical order. The event is free to the public and is approximately 3 hours long.

Last night, Laurie Metcalf was a guest on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' to talk about starring in 'Hillary and Clinton' on Broadway.

John Lithgow, who is currently starring on Broadway in 'Hillary and Clinton,' was a guest on last night's episode of 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' During the interview, Lithgow discusses the play, to which the Clintons have been invited, but haven't yet RSVPed.

Zak Orth and Peter Francis James will complete the cast of Hillary and Clinton, the highly anticipated new play by Tony Award nominee Lucas Hnath, joining the previously announced Tony and Emmy Award winners Laurie Metcalf and John Lithgow.

Henry V is the first Shakespeare production, and the second play overall, in Hartford Stage's 55-year history to be staged in the round. In addition to Grush, the ensemble cast - comprised of half men and half women - features Karen Aldridge as Exeter, Miles Anderson as Pistol, Kate Forbes as the Constable of France and Burgundy, Peter Francis James as the Chorus and Sir Thomas Erpingham, Felicity Jones Latta as the Archbishop of Canterbury, Nym and Alice, and Baron Vaughn as Fluellen and Mistress Quickly. Hartford Stage Associate Artistic Director Elizabeth Williamson will helm the production, which marks her Shakespeare directorial debut for the Tony Award-winning theatre.

Notable Sonnet readers this year include Michael Urie, Dana Ivey, Brian Soliwoda as C.P. Shakes and Perdita, the pigeon, Peter Francis James, American painter Gerri Davis and Award-winning Orchestrator Michael Starobin. The Sonnet Slam features 154 readers of all ages performing all 154 of Shakespeare's Sonnets in numerical order. The event is free to the public. This year, the kickoff Reader for Sonnet #1 will be Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk-winner Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit, Showtime's The Affair).
