LAByrinth Theater Company will launch into its 30th Anniversary season with the return of The Barn Series 2023, an annual festival featuring a full roster of new plays, and Día Y Noche, a world premiere production written by David Anzuelo (Shared Sentences) and directed by Carlos Armesto (The Who’s Tommy).

Honoring Veteran's Day, The Atlantic Council, NewYorkRep, and The United States Veterans' Artists Alliance present War Words, the Pulitzer Prize-nominated docu-play by Michelle Kholos Brooks, in the words of the men and women who served in the U.S. Military during the Afghanistan and Iraq wars.

The Chain Theatre will present a staged reading of the new play The Demand of Avarice by Matthew McLachlan on Friday, October 1 at 8pm. Directed by David Zayas Jr., the reading will star DAVID ZAYAS*(Dexter) , EVAN HALL (Orange is the New Black), FLORENCIA LOZANO* (Narcos) , PETER COLLIER (LAByrinth Member), AND KIRK KOCZANOWSKI (The Big Time).

The radical ideas of Valerie Solanas explode in 'S.C.U.M.: The Valerie Solanas Story,' a play by Kat Georges, directed by Peter Carlaftes. After a banner year for their summer festivity and Playwrights for a Cause, Planet Connections Theatre Festivity will be hosting its annual awards ceremony honoring the finest of an outstanding season.

This year, the event will be Sunday, July 23, and will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union with 'The Protest Plays,' stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, CATHERINE FILLOUX, Lyle Kessler, JOSE RIVERA, and Regina Taylor.

Planet Connections Theatre Festivity, New York's premiere socially conscious-eco-friendly theatre festival, caps off its latest season with its annual awards ceremony on Sunday, August 14, at 7pm, at the Cherry Lane Theatre, located at 38 Commerce Street.
