Billy Stritch returns to Crazy Coqs with a band new show spotlighting the music of legendary tunesmith, Cy Coleman. He'll be joined this time by a swinging jazz trio – all the better to perfectly celebrate one of Broadway and pop music's jazziest composers.

Birdland Jazz Club will present a special evening with renowned pianist and singer Billy Stritch and award-winning jazz vocalist Gabrielle Stravelli on Monday, September 19 at 7:00 PM.

Shakespeare is getting a re-write. This fall, & Juliet will finally arrive on Broadway, flipping the script on the greatest love story ever told, to the iconic pop anthems of Max Martin. Two of its stars are Broadway favorite Paulo Szot and direct from the West End, Melanie La Barrie, who play Lance and the Nurse. For the tenth year in a row, Jim Caruso & Billy Stritch return to Bemelmans Bar at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel with their evening of swinging standards on Sundays, March 13, 20, 27, May 1, 22 and 29, from 9pm to midnight.  Bassist Steve Doyle will once again join the duo. 

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets has announced the 2022 MAC Award nominees. The nominees were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership, except for the song and recording categories, which were determined by special committees.

The production features Emanuelle Araujo, in the role of sarcastic Velma Kelly; Paulo Szot, as  the charming and unscrupulous Billy Flynn (a role he currently played on Broadway); and Carol Costa as the “innocent” and surprising Roxie Hart. L. Candido (Mary Sunshine), Lilian Valeska (Mama Morton) and Eduardo Amir (Amos Hart) complete the main cast.

The Tony Award-winning, record-breaking musical CHICAGO opened this week in Brazil for a limited engagement at Teatro Santander through May 29, 2022. This Portuguese-language production stars Emanuelle Araújo as Velma Kelly, Carol Costa as Roxie Hart and Tony Award winner Paulo Szot as Billy Flynn, who recently starred in the Broadway production.
