New York City’s parks and outdoor spaces come alive with the sound of jazz in the summer, courtesy of Jazzmobile’s 58th annual Summerfest 2023 series, which premieres on stages throughout the city’s five boroughs with an outstanding assemblage of nearly 30 jazz stars and emerging talents from July 5 to September 24.

Performances begin next week for Northern Stage’s production of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater’s coming-of-age rock musical Spring Awakening, which will be performed September 27 – October 23, 2022, in the Byrne Theater at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction, VT.

The irreverent romp The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged), Northern Stage’s first live and in-person production since October of 2020, is now in performance through July 4, 2022, at the newly-built outdoor Courtyard Theater directly behind Northern Stage’s Barrette Center for the Arts. 

The Vermont hills will come alive with the beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musical The Sound of Music at the Barrette Center for the Arts in White River Junction for the holidays, November 20 a?" This past year brought 23 nominations for New Hampshire Theater Awards. The Barn celebrates 8 awards and 19 "top three" finishes in recognition of its 2018 season. 'Trick or Treat,' an absorbing dark comedy, is now on stage at 59E59 Theaters for a limited engagement through February 24. Written by Jack Neary, the show features the finest direction by Carol Dunne and an excellent cast.
