The Kimmel Cultural Campus presents Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, February 22 - 27, 2022, at the Campus' Academy of Music.

Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Sara Sheperd (Carole King), James D. Gish (Gerry Goffin), Sara King (Cynthia Weil), Ryan Farnsworth (Barry Mann), Matt Loehr (Don Kirshner) and Rachel Coloff (Genie Klein) to the Company. Beautiful – The Carole King Musical will make its Atlanta return at the Fox Theatre May 20-22.

The Tony & Grammy Award-winning Broadway hit Beautiful—The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, will make its Detroit return at the Fisher Theatre, January 4-9, 2022.

Emmy & Tony Award winner Laurence Fishburne, Academy Award & Golden Globe winner  Sam Rockwell and Emmy Award & Golden Globe winner Darren Criss will star in the Broadway revival of David  Mamet's AMERICAN BUFFALO, directed by Neil Pepe.

The North American tour of the Tony and Grammy Award-winning hit musical Beautiful- The Carole King Musical will welcome Sara Sheperd (Carole King), James D. Plans for the revitalized facility include significant improvements to the existing theaters and the creation of an additional theater designed to anchor the organization's Educational Theatre program, serving students of all ages and abilities.

The “Spotlight on Plays” series announced a new special event reading of John C. Russell’s STUPID KIDS starring John Clay III (Jim Stark), Tony Award nominee Lauren Patten (Jane “Kimberly” Willis), Tony Award winner Ali Stroker(Judy Noonan), Taylor Trensch (John “Neechee” Crawford)& Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Stage Directions).

The production will hold technical rehearsals and performances at Chicago's CIBC Theatre (November 2-7, 2021) before embarking on its 2021-22 North American Touring season. Casting will be announced later.

Bay Street Theater & Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the outdoor production of Camelot, with book and lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner and music by Frederick Loewe, had a successful opening night and, due to popular demand, performances are now extended through Sunday, September 5.

Gulfshore Playhouse has now raised $54.3 million for its new cultural campus.

Reaffirming their commitment to the transformative project, Patty and Jay Baker have made a surprise announcement pledging to match all gifts made by July 4, 2021 up to $10 million. The Bakers, who kicked off the Next Stage Capital Campaign with the first match gift, now have pledged up to $20 million for the new Cultural Campus.
