As bergenPAC prepares to welcome audiences back to the theater this summer, has announced the first new performances to go on sale for the 2021 season. These shows join the existing presented lineup as live entertainment returns to Englewood.

More than 50 elders, most over 75, were interviewed by student writers and recent graduates of historically Black colleges and universities. Photo portraits of interviewees were taken by a new generation of Black photographers — and most were local talent from the subjects' own communities.

Broadway Producer Corey Brunish is helping to pave the way for young musical theatre talent heading to college programs. With the launching of 'The Brunish Broadway Musical Theatre Scholarship' Brunish will assist a graduating high school senior with a $1,000 scholarship in 2022. The award will be presented through Bridgetown Conservatory of Musical Theatre in Portland, Oregon, founded by musical theatre professional Rick Lewis.

Broadway luminaries Marty Thomas (Wicked, Xanadu, The Secret Garden) & Marissa Rosen (Kristin Chenoweth: For The Girls), have released a new musical theater mashup pairing The Little Mermaid with Little Shop of Horrors.

 Music's Live Music Heals will present 'An Exciting Evening of Empathy,' benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with an exceptional guest performance by Florence La Rue & The 5th Dimension. The multi-platinum group 5th Dimension dominated the music and television scene in the '60s and 70's with their top music hits.

Hosted by Elizabeth Hurley, Global Ambassador of The Estée Lauder Companies' Breast Cancer Campaign, the evening featured appearances by Jordana Brewster, Edie Falco, Cheryl Hines, Patti LaBelle, Lisa Ling, Joan Lunden, Carolyn Murphy, Emma Myles, Amy Robach, Molly Sims and others.

Enrico Lopez-Yañez, the Nashville-based producer, composer, arranger and Principal Pops Conductor of the Nashville Symphony Orchestra will be 'BETWEEN TWO PALMS' at The Studios of Key West on Wednesday, April 27th from 6-7PM.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced that all 10 episodes of the audio series titled Place/Settings: Berkeley are now available. Place/Settings: Berkeley premiered on January 12 with each episode released once a week. Now listeners can enjoy the entire series all in one sitting. Each episode runs approximately 10-20 minutes.

AKA NYC has announced that Producers Blair Russell, Dale A. Mott, and Nolan Williams, Jr. have been chosen as the inaugural recipients of the newly formed Black Producer 500 Hours Initiative. The goal is to help open doors for new, diverse, and necessary storytellers on Broadway stages and in arts and performance spaces across the country.

Today we celebrate Black History Month by taking a closer look at After Midnight. Directed and choreographed by Warren Carlyle, it played for 273 performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre. The revue is based on Cotton Club Parade, which ran in concert at Encores! in 2011 and 2012. The revue takes place 'after midnight' in New York's Harlem.

ANTHONYKEN, LLC. has announcedthe return of their tribute concert KINGS AND QUEENS OF SOUL: A TRIBUTE CONCERT TO THE PIONEERS OF SOUL MUSIC which will be available starting Valentine's Day, February 14th.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced a new 10-episode series titled Place/Settings: Berkeley as part of their Rep On- Air season. Ten revered writers, each with deep ties to Berkeley, have all crafted a story around a place or a setting within the City of Berkeley that is significant to them.
