Apollo Theater Announces Charles Phillips as New Chairman of the Board

Phillips, who has served on the Apollo’s Board of Directors since 2015 and most recently as its Vice Chairman, marked his new role with a generous $1 million gift to the Apollo Theater’s Emergency Fund, which was created to ensure the iconic non-profit’s continued financial stability amid its closure due to COVID-19.

The American Traditions Vocal Competition to Present Season Salon Soirée Concert Featuring Jim Wann and Bill Smith

The American Traditions Vocal Competition (ATC) is slated to present another Seasonal Salon Soirée concert at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26 at the home of Dan Rizzo and Silvio Trioni in downtown Savannah. The concert will feature original songs and stories by singer-songwriter, composer, and Tony-nominee Jim Wann, with special guest and Savannah guitar virtuoso Bill Smith.

DRIVING MISS DAISY Opens Savannah Repertory Theatre's Season
