Following the conclusion of its third season in late 2023, Power Book III: Raising Kanan has just been renewed for a fifth season. The fourth season is currently filming in New York. The series stars MeKai Curtis in the titular role of Kanan, Tony and Grammy Award winner Patina Miller as his mother, Hailey Kilgore as Jukebox, and more.

Hazbin Hotel creator Vivienne Medrano wants to bring the show to Broadway. Since the series features a stacked lineup of Broadway stars, the creator, director, and executive producer of the adult animated musical series says she would be interested in seeing the series make it to the stage.

Although it may be a new year, a few classics are returning to streaming services, giving Broadway fans the perfect throwback binge list. A new month also wouldn't be complete without some theatre faces popping up in new streaming releases, including the new Mean Girls soundtrack and a star-studded animated series.

In this interview, I got to sit down with Denver Dickenson Jr., one of my personal role models as a performer. They spent their summer in New York representing AZ at the Jimmy Awards as a nominee before moving there to pursue a BFA in Musical Theatre at Pace University.
