Today, after an iconic 20+ years of music, Columbia Records Grammy-winning multi-platinum selling band Train officially releases their highly anticipated Greatest Hits album and simultaneously announces a legendary summer tour with co-headliners and Grammy-nominated rockers, the Goo Goo Dolls. The amphitheater tour will feature special guest Allen Stoneand hit over 39 stops across North America. The tour will stop at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts on Saturday, July 27th, located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival in Bethel, NY. Fans will have a chance to witness Train's extensive and critically-acclaimed catalog of hits over the last two decades.   

Warner Bros. Records collaborated with Netflix for the exclusive music soundtrack of Westside, Netflix's first-ever unscripted music series. The series follows the lives of nine young artists struggling for success in today's high-pressure music industry. Today, the unscripted eight-episode series launches globally on Netflix and the soundtrack WESTSIDE: THE MUSIC is available on Warner Bros. Records.

Stephen Kellogg is set to release Objects in the Mirror on November 23, 2018. Produced by fellow Americana singer-songwriter Will Hoge, the 12-track set was recorded over the course of a single week in Nashville, TN and tracked live, keeping the results intact with minimal overdubs. Ahead of release, American Songwriter featured album track “High Highs, Low Lows” yesterday calling it “a slowly building folk anthem with chiming piano, gentle pedal steel and a raw, vulnerable vocal performance from Kellogg.” Of writing the song, Kellogg offers, “It's is a bit of an ode to perseverance. To finding one's way through hard times (of which there are plenty), and also having the sense to recognize happiness when it's in front of us. Like a lot of people, I'm trying to make sense of some of the fractures that have occurred in my life. GRAMMY® Award-winning superstar duo SUGARLAND announced their highly anticipated sixth studio album, titled BIGGER, will be released on June 8 and becomes available for preorder on April 13. Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bushco-wrote nearly all of the songs on the album, which was co-produced by Kristian, Jennifer, and Julian Raymond. BWW Review: ROCKTOPIA - A CLASSICAL REVOLUTION at The Broadway Theater

As with the Broadway season's earlier pop concert extravaganza, HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, this theatre critic readily admits to not exactly being an ideal arts journalist to authoritatively review the touring rock anthem/classical music fusion concert called Rocktopia that has made a stop at the Broadway Theatre. Though my knowledge of the highbrow oeuvre is perhaps slightly higher than a layperson's, my experience with classic rock power ballads rarely extends further than the snippets heard at baseball and hockey games or during the occasional car commercial.

Broadway has turned up the volume! Last night at the Broadway Theatre, Rocktopia officially opened. An explosive musical concert event that fuses the most iconic 20th-century rock with world-renowned classical masterpieces,ROCKTOPIA features the works of musical innovators across centuries-including Journey, Mozart, Queen, Beethoven, Aerosmith, Handel, Led Zeppelin, Tchaikovsky, U2, Heart, Puccini, The Who and more-performed by an elite lineup of vocalists, a five-piece rock band, a thirty-person choir, and a twenty-piece orchestra. Rocktopia celebrates its opening night on Broadway tomorrow,Tuesday, March 27, running six weeks only, through April 29, 2018.
