Today, CMT announced it will air the exclusive broadcast premiere of 'BLUEBIRD,' the critically-acclaimed feature film documenting the 35-year history of The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville's accidental landmark that altered the course of music history. 'BLUEBIRD' will premiere Wednesday, February 19th at 8 PM ET/PT and will receive an encore screening on Friday, February 21st at 12PM ET/PT on CMT.

1957 was a momentous year in country music. The radio was filled with huge hits by the stars of the day: Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Ferlin Husky and Jim Reeves. Future stars like Patty Loveless, Vince Gill and Pam Tillis were all born in 1957. Meanwhile, in a Kalamazoo, Michigan factory, one of the first Gibson guitars featuring a cutaway and built-in pickup was being manufactured. That guitar would become a prized possession of Woody Lynch, who would eventually pass it along to his son, a 19-year-old burgeoning country artist, Richard Lynch.

BLUEBIRD, a new documentary hitting theaters on November 15th from Cleopatra Entertainment, has released it's first trailer and poster. Directed by Brian A. Loschiavo, this film tells the origin stories of megastars like Taylor Swift, Kacey Musgraves, and Garth Brooks while following emerging singer-songwriters as they chase their dreams inside The Bluebird Cafe, Nashville's accidental landmark that has altered the course of music history.

Women in Country Music will unite for a historic, not-to-be-missed opening performance at a?oeThe 53rd Annual CMA Awards.a?? The groundbreaking number led by Carrie Underwood, Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton will also feature Terri Clark, Sara Evans, Crystal Gayle, The Highwomen (comprised of Brandi Carlile, Natalie Hemby, Maren Morris and Amanda Shires), Martina McBride, Jennifer Nettles, Tanya Tucker and Gretchen Wilson, each performing iconic Country songs for a monumental decades-spanning medley never before seen. 

Actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth is set to present at the a?oeThe 53rd Annual CMA Awards.a?? Country Music's Biggest Night, hosted by Carrie Underwood with special guest hosts Reba McEntire and Dolly Parton, airs live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8/7c on the ABC Television Network.

 CMA Fest has revealed the lineups for three daytime stages that are free to the public during the four-day festival in June. In late 2016 at the age of only 14, Kentucky musician Will Muse decided he wanted to use his music in a positive way. Combining his passion for helping others with his love for music, Will founded Music for Wishes, an annual fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, which he planned and organized with the help of family, friends, committee members, and a supportive community. Recently, the 2019 event was held in Will's hometown of Somerset, Kentucky at the Center for Rural Development, raising $35,247, topping the previous year's donations. In just three short years Music For Wishes has generated more than $85,000 for Make-A-Wish®.

The 2020 Country Music Cruise has announced the exciting lineup for the 7th annual Country Music Party At Sea, headlined by multiplatinum recording artist, Grammy nominee, Billboard Award winner, actor and one of the top comedians in the country Larry The Cable Guy. The country music community is mourning the loss of Country Music Hall of Fame and Grand Ole Opry member Roy Clark who passed away this morning following complications of pneumonia. He was 85.
