Thanks to an unprecedented collaboration between seven of Hartford's cultural institutions, the region's theatre audiences will be able to participate in a week-long engagement of an interactive new piece of virtual theatre.

Round House Theatre has announced a new lineup of plays, conversations, and education offerings for its 43rd Season, which includes digital programming for the fall and winter and a return to live productions in its Bethesda theatre in spring 2021.

Working Theater, in partnership with Round House Theatre (Bethesda, MD), Salt Lake Acting Company (Salt Lake City, UT)), Marin Theatre Company (Mill Valley, CA), a consortium of cultural institutions representing greater Hartford lead by  HartBeat Ensemble, The Bushnell and UConn's Thomas J. Dodd Center, (Hartford, CT)  Arizona State University Gammage (Tempe, AZ) and Texas Performing Arts (Austin, TX) join forces to present a unique co-production of American Dreams. 

TEDxBroadway organizers announced today the 9th annual event will be held online this year. The date is set for the virtual event for Tuesday, November 17 at 1pm Eastern.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS and THE CIVILIANS will host an online interactive listening party to introduce the two new world premiere albums of The Michael Friedman Collection on Thursday, August 27 at 8:00 PM Eastern.

The second installment of world premiere albums of The Michael Friedman Collection, will be available for streaming and download on Friday, August 14. Two new titles, (I Am) Nobody's Lunch and Paris Commune, follow the first three - The Great Immensity, The Abominables, and This Beautiful City - that were released last year.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced complete casting today for the New York premiere of THE VAGRANT TRILOGY, a Public Theater commission, written by Emerging Writers Group Alumna Mona Mansour. Directed by Mark Wing-Davey, THE VAGRANT TRILOGY begins performances in the LuEsther Hall on Tuesday, March 17 with a Joseph Papp Free Preview performance, and will run through Sunday, April 26 with an official press opening on Wednesday, April 1.

Over 200 people braved the rain on Monday night and gathered under the tent at the Big Apple Circus at Lincoln Center where the 2nd Annual Cabaret at the Circus gala was held benefitting 'Broadway For All', the non-profit organization that aims to transform the American stage and screen to reflect the diversity in America.

Producers of Moulin Rouge! The Musical announced today that the production will commemorate its 100th Broadway performance by partnering with the organization Broadway for All to welcome 70 New York City area arts students as special guests at today's matinee performance. Following the show, the students will have the opportunity to participate in a talkback with the cast, led by Tony Award-winner Karen Olivo.

Big Apple Circus has kicked off their special programming at the Mirror Room, as part of the Big Apple Circus. This specially made 'Spiegeltent'features three immersive circus installations, great for Instagram, as well as a private bar and can fit up to 300 people. The programming will include performances by Tony Nominated performers, renown comedians, prominent nightlife attractions, and more, spanning the worlds of comedy, and circus.
