Boston Court Pasadena will bring another daring year of theater and music events to Southern California for their 2019 season, and welcomes the S. Lantern Theater Company continues its 25th anniversary season with the Philadelphia premiere of The Heir Apparent by David Ives, adapted from Jean-Francois Regnard's 1708 comedy Le Legataire universel. Lantern resident director M. Craig Getting will direct a cast that includes Lantern veterans Chris Anthony, Leonard C. Haas, Adam Hammet, Dave Johnson, Mary Martello, Lee Minora, and Ruby Wolf. Now playing at the Atlas Performing Arts Center is an all-female, 1930s Tinseltown take on Oscar Wilde's WOMAN OF NO IMPORTANCE, directed by Robert McNamara. It's an undeniably creative angle to approach Wilde, in the vein of Scena's previous gender-bending production of THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, and it has its share of funny and dramatic moments. However, its busy design and occasionally manic delivery miss the mark at times.

Performances will be at Rover's theatre in Plano, located in Ruisseau Village at 221 W. Parker Rd, Suite 580, at the northwest corner of Parker and 75. Performances run November 1-17 todays and Fridays at 8:00 p.m. and on Saturdays at 3:00 and 8:00 p.m.
