45North and Ellie Keel Productions today announce Olivia Williams in Rafaella Marcus' The You Play Volume Two: The Haunted Woman, her second play in the audio project Written on the Waves. Directed by Jessica Lazar, it follows the previous collaboration on Marcus' debut The You Play: small acts, and will be available from 14 December 2020.

In April, it was announced Laura Donnelly will lead the HBO sci-fi series “The Nevers.” The twelve other cast members include Olivia Williams, James Norton, Tom Riley, Ann Skelly, Ben Chaplin, Pip Torrens, Zackary Momoh, Amy Manson, Nick Frost, Rochelle Neil, Eleanor Tomlinson and Denis O'Hare, according to Deadline on July 30.
The Academy Invites 842 To Membership; 50% Are Women

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is extending invitations to join the organization to 842 artists and executives who have distinguished themselves by their contributions to theatrical motion pictures. The 2019 class is 50% women, 29% people of color, and represents 59 countries. Those who accept the invitations will be the only additions to the Academy's membership in 2019.

Tartuffe, which has just opened at the National, is quick, clever, and frightening.
Going on a new adaptation by John Donnelly, which transplants the action to modern-day London, and a delicious set by Robert Jones - so decadent it chews the actors - this new, politically charged production is disiquientingly relevant.
It is also wickedly funny.

A ferocious new version of Moliere's comic masterpiece, Tartuffe, by John Donnelly, directed by Blanche McIntyre will open in February in the Lyttelton Theatre. Denis O'Hare makes his NT debut as Tartuffe, and is joined by Kevin Doyle as Orgon and Olivia Williams as Elmire.
