BAM has announced details on its 2024 DanceAfrica festival, The Origin of Communities / A Calabash of Cultures, a dynamic celebration of the rich tapestry of African arts and culture, with a focus on the traditions and contemporary innovations of Cameroon, affectionately known as 'Little Africa.'

The American Dance Guild Festival returns to Ailey Citigroup Theater from Feb. 22-25, featuring works by 30 contemporary choreographers and honoring Joan Miller, Ron K. Brown/Evidence, and Celia Ipiotis/Eye on Dance. Don't miss this celebration of modern dance innovation.

The Fresh Fruit Festival, now in its 19th consecutive year, is presenting works in the following format for development in filmed virtual presentation: LGBTQ MONOLOGUES, curated by Rachel Kara Perez and artistic director, Dennis Corsi.

Lincoln Center at the Movies, the new cinema series recently announced by Lincoln Center in partnership with Fathom Events, will open in fall 2015 with Great American Dance presenting performances by four of America's leading companies: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Ballet Hispanico, New York City Ballet, and San Francisco Ballet. Each event will be shown in select cinemas nationwide at nearly 400 locations.
