The York Theatre Company production of Desperate Measures, the knee-slappin' new musical with a nod to Shakespeare's Measure for Measure, with book and lyrics by Peter Kellogg (Anna Karenina) and music by David Friedman (Scandalous), presented in association with Cecilia Lin and Hu Guo, is now in performance through Sunday, October 15, 2017 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (619 Lexington Avenue, entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue).

Bucks County Playhouse's Executive Producer Robyn Goodman, Producing Director Alexander Fraser and Producers Stephen Kocis and Joshua Fiedler announced final casting for the production, which features direction by Hunter Foster (BCP's Clue: On Stage and Guys and Dolls ) with choreography by Lorin Latarro (BCP's Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story and Broadway's Waitress ).

A series of tweets on the parody account @TheTweetofGod landed American comedy writer David Javerbaum a book deal. Eventually that book, The Last Testament: A Memoir By God, was adapted for the stage and renamed as An Act of God. The stage version premiered at Broadway's Studio 54 Theatre in 2015 with Big Bang Theory sitcom star Jim Parsons in the leading role. A second run featured Will & Grace's Sean Hayes in the leading role, and now the B Street Theatre will give the holy role to Nick Cearley (Buyer & Cellar).

Bucks County Playhouse presents the world premiere production of 'Clue: On Stage,' the outrageous new comedy adapted from the cult classic film. Performances run now through May 20, 2017, and BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening night festivities on May 6 below!
