Chris Isaacson Presents Announces Slate Of Entertainment For Summer 2018

Chris Isaacson Presents has announced a full slate of summer entertainment at five venues: Catalina Bar & Grill in Hollywood, Upstairs at Vitello's in Studio City, the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, Martinis Above Fourth in San Diego, and The Purple Room in Palm Springs. The lineup includes Star Search and Oprah Winfrey Show favorite Jake Simpson, the Grammy Award-winning Conspirare Choir performing Considering Matthew Shepard (presented in association with the John Anson Ford Amphitheatre), New York's indie-rock stars The Skivvies, Broadway sensation David Burnham, and Tony Award-winner John Lloyd Young.

On The Quays Returns to The Green Room 42 for '#howaboutlove: PRIDE'

On The Quays, a NYC-based international production company, is thrilled to reunite their electrifying company to close out PRIDE weekend 2018 on Sunday, June 24th at 7:00PM at The Green Room 42! #howaboutlove: PRIDE will be a rowdy and rambunctious night of music and celebration.

The Skivvies Announce the Return of SUNDAY UNDIE EASTER BRUNCH

The infamous Skivvies team up for their Green Room 42 return by popular demand in their well-miss SUNDAY BRUNCH PARTY. Known for their hit duo act that has toured the country stripping down music with Broadway guests, Lauren Molina and Nick Cearly are at the forefront of the cabaret industry. Come brunch, celebrate Easter, April Fool's day, and have a mimosa!

FOREVER PLAID Returns to Benefit BC/EFA

Off Broadway's iconic harmonious hit, Forever Plaid returns to New York for a limited engagement to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS for three special performances on April 5th, 6th and 7th (7PM) at the Laurie Beechman Theatre at West Bank Cafe (407 W. 42nd Street).

2018 MAC Award Nominees Announced

The Manhattan Association of Cabarets (MAC) is pleased to announce the 2018 MAC Award nominees. The nominees, in a majority of the categories, were determined by votes cast by the active MAC membership. The MAC Board of Directors selected the nominees for Show of the Year. Special committees selected the nominees in the Ensemble Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Instrumentalist, Piano Bar Singing Entertainer (Female; Male), Recording (LaMott Friedman), Major Recording, Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories. The names of the songwriters in the Song and Comedy/Novelty Song categories are being withheld during the voting period, but will be announced publicly as soon as the voting period concludes.

2018-2019 Season Announced At The Armory!

Portland Center Stage at The Armory's 2018-2019 season will feature 11 productions along with a special 10th anniversary return engagement of Storm Large in Crazy Enough, a show that had its world premiere at The Armory in 2009 and became one of the company's biggest hits.

The Cabaret Pops Champagne on New Home With Full Season of Celebrations

The Cabaret's grand opening season of engaging, intimate performances kicks off at the historic Metzger Building in the heart of the evolving Library Square on April 21. The 2018 Spring/Summer season will feature three Tony Award winners, including an iconic Broadway legend, a trio of divas from across the pond, a duo of musical misfits...and undie-rockers. This season at The Cabaret, every performance is a grand opening and will celebrate all things cabaret with unique experiences, champagne toasts, and red carpet rollouts.

The Skivvies Will Strip Down with HIT SINGLES This February

On February 15 (9:30pm) the infamous Skivvies team up for their Green Room 42 return by popular demand in 'Hit Singles.' Known for their hit duo act that has toured the country stripping down music with Broadway guests, Lauren Molina and Nick Cearly are at the forefront of the cabaret industry. With love songs and breakup ballads, The Skivvies will deliver a celebration of singles, on Feb 15th (National Single Appreciation Day.) Don't cry at home without a Valentine-- Eat free chocolate and celebrate the badass that you are!

The Skivvies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning NYC actor/musicians doing stripped down versions of eclectic covers and comedic, genre-hopping mashups. Not only are the arrangements stripped down - cello, ukulele, glockenspiel, melodica - but the Skivvies literally strip down to their underwear to perform. Back by popular demand, the duo appeared at Feinstein's/54 Below for two shows on January 14th and 20th.
