Actress, singer and writer Nina Kristofferson brings her one woman show 'The Billie Holiday Story' to the Charing Cross Theatre tonight, 1 April 2013 for a strictly limited 8 week run. This London engagement follows a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival in 2011, and a tour of the UK in 2012, which attracted critical and public acclaim.

Following its original run at the National Theatre, The History Boys transferred to Broadway, winning the Tony Award for Best Play in 2006, and toured internationally before being turned into a film, again directed by Nicholas Hytner and with a cast including Frances de la Tour.

BB Promotion in collaboration with Sundance Productions Inc., NY and Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group have announced the return of the international sell out hit "WEST SIDE STORY", with a national tour opening at the Liverpool Empire on Tuesday 24 September 2013, following the previously announced season at Sadler's Wells, which runs from Wednesday 7 August - Sunday 22 September 2013.
Lorin Maazel Returns to the Met to Conduct Verdi's Don Carlo

Renowned conductor Lorin Maazel will make a rare appearance at the Metropolitan Opera-conducting his first Verdi opera with the company-when he leads a revival of Don Carlo, opening February 22. Ramon Vargas sings his first Met performances of the title role, opposite Barbara Frittoli, also in her house role debut, as the tragic Elisabeth de Valois. Reprising their roles from previous Met seasons are Anna Smirnova as the mysterious Princess Eboli; Dmitri Hvorostovsky as the revolutionary Rodrigo, Count of Posa; Ferruccio Furlanetto as the tormented King Philip II; and Eric Halfvarson as the Grand Inquisitor. This season's performances are the first revival of Nicholas Hytner's production, which opened to critical acclaim in the Met's 2010-11 season.

Forthcoming productions at the National Theatre, announced today by Nicholas Hytner, include plays familiar, rare and new: Shakespeare's Othello, Gorky's Children of the Sun,James Baldwin's The Amen Corner;Marlowe's Edward II, Pirandello's Liola, Eugene O'Neill's Strange Interlude and Georg Kaiser's From Morning to Midnight. Tori Amos and Samuel Adamson's musical The Light Princess will premiere in October, and there will be a new adaptation of Emil and the Detectives for family audiences at Christmas.

From 4 February Rufus Hound leads the new cast in Nicholas Hytner's five star West End production of Richard Bean's One Man, Two Guvnors as loveable chancer Francis Henshall, he is joined by Sam Alexander (Stanley Stubbers), Ian Burfield (Charlie Clench), Amy Cudden (Rachel Crabbe), Harry Kershaw (Alan Dangle), Kelly Price (Dolly) and Hugh Sachs (Harry Dangle). Martin Barrass (Alfie), David Benson (Gareth), Rhona Croker (Pauline) and Derek Elroy (Lloyd Boateng) continue in the production and Mensah Bediako, Owen Brazendale, Gillian Budd, Max Hutchinson, Tom Lorcan, Aimee Parkes and Claire Sundin complete the ensemble. According to the Daily Mail, One Man, Two Guvnors star James Corden and Dominic Cooper are set to reunite in a production by the National Theatre. Artistic Director Nicholas Hytner is still searching for the right script, which includes having asked writers to create new shows or adapt classics. The Mail guesses the collaboration will begin in 2014.
