Catskill's Bridge Street Theatre Presents the World Premiere of Michelle Carter's BETTER September 12 a?" 22

With protests against mandatory vaccines in New York reaching the state capital this month, there's never been a more fitting time for the East Coast premiere of Jonathan Spector's ripped-from-the-headlines play, EUREKA DAY.

The Tank will present Tonya Pinkins' Truth and Reconciliation: Womyn Working It Out! (produced by Katie Walenta) featuring new 10-minute plays by Jaisey Bates, Glory Kadigan, Jasmine McLeish, Tonya Pinkins, Kristine M Reyes, Carmen Rivera, Nikkole Salter, Nandita Shenoy, and Lucy Thurber, directed by Tonya Pinkins.

The creators of Antigona, the widely acclaimed and wildly popular flamenco adaptation of Sophocles's Antigone, return to San Francisco's Z Space with their hit program Entre Tú y Yo (Between You and Me). Conceived, choreographed, and directed by Noche Flamenca Artistic Director Martín Santangelo and lead dancer Soledad Barrio, Entre Tú y Yo explores through dance the possibilities afforded and constraints imposed by relationships. Joined by some of Spain's most celebrated flamenco artists, legendary dancer Soledad Barrio stars in this evening-length program of duets, solos, and ensemble works, conceived and directed by Martín Santangelo.

International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) returns to NYU Skirball following its critically acclaimed, sold-out run of the whisper opera in 2018, with Soundlines, two premieres by composer and MacArthur Fellow George Lewis, on October 18 and 19 at 7:30 pm at NYU Skirball. The program features the NYC premiere of Soundlines: A Dreaming Track, a spoken-word musical journey; and the U.S. premiere of P. Multitudinis, a sound environment featuring seven ensembles.

Bay Street Theater has announced that Irving Berlin's ANNIE GET YOUR GUN opened to an enthusiastic audience on August 3. Rattlestick Playwrights Theater has announced details and complete casting for the world premiere of Novenas for a Lost Hospital, a communal experience created by playwright Cusi Cram (A Lifetime Burning) and Rattlestick's Artistic Director Daniella Topol (Ironbound) and starring Tony Award-nominated and four-time Obie-winning actress Kathleen Chalfant (Angels in America, Wit). Novenas for a Lost Hospital sets out to remember and celebrate St. Vincent's Hospital, the 161-year-old Catholic institution that treated victims of calamities from the sinking of the Titanic to September 11th.
