NBC's Jesus Christ Superstar Live In Concert has won an Emmy for Outstanding Directing For A Limited Series, Movie Or Dramatic Special during the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

The life of late legendary producer Craig Zadan will be celebrated by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) - the organization dedicated to supporting theatre arts in schools and nurturing students all over the country - at the organization's annual West Coast gala Thespians Go Hollywood - Honoring the Life and Work of Craig Zadan. The celebration will take place on November 11, 2018 at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences' headquarters in North Hollywood.  The announcement was made by Robert Greenblatt, Chairman, NBC Entertainment, and Julie Cohen Theobald, President of the Educational Theatre Foundation.

On August 21, the entertainment industry lost one of its brightest producers Craig Zadan. Today Bob Greenblatt published a guest column for The Hollywood Reporter sharing memories of his friend and colleague.

Broadway had never seen anything like it: An anti-war rock musical featuring nudity, profanity and drugs. 'Hair,' premiering on stage in 1968, was a reflection of the turbulent times. Last night, Monday, May 21 at The Egyptian Theater in Hollywood, CA, NBC's critically and commercially acclaimed 'Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert' was celebrated with a robust panel discussion and special musical performances.

The Shubert Organization and movie/television/theatre producers Craig Zadan & Neil Meron, fresh off their juggernaut NBC television event 'Jesus Christ Superstar LIVE,' announced today that they have acquired the coveted rights to adapt Some Like It Hot as an all-new musical for the stage from Metro Goldwyn Mayer Studios.

"Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert" stars Sara Bareilles and Brandon Victor Dixon hosted a screening and Q&A as part of the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's "Conversations" series on Wednesday, April 18 at the Robin Williams Center for Entertainment and Media in New York City.  The Q&A was moderated by BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge.
