The National Theatre has announced its productions on-sale for October 2019 a?' March 2020

After a sold-out run, Ian Rickson's acclaimed production of Translations returns to the National Theatre in October 2019. Brian Friel's modern classic is a powerful account of nationhood, which sees the turbulent relationship between England and Ireland play out in one quiet community. 

BroadwayWorld has learned that COMPANY will come home to New York this season, with opening night set for March 22, 2020 at Broadway's Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre. The production will officially open on Stephen Sondheim's 90th Birthday.

In Tahiti in 1940, a penniless Tennessee Williams lay in a hammock beside another writer also despairing of ever finding success, both binge-drinking rum-cocos and welcoming the dramatic storms that temporarily eclipsed their melancholy. To make matters worse, a party of German Nazis was bragging about their success in the war, and Williams' friend pitched 'the long swim to China'.

Tennessee William's The Night of the Iguana plays a strictly limited season at the Noel Coward Theatre. The cast is led by Golden Globe-winner Clive Owen (Closer, Children of Men) who returns to the West End as Rev. T. Lawrence Shannon for the first time in 18 years; Lia Williams (The Crown, Mary Stuart) as Hannah Jelkes; two-time Emmy Award-winner Anna Gunn (Deadwood, Breaking Bad) in her West End debut as Maxine Faulk and Julian Glover (Game of Thrones) as Nonno. This year, for the very first time, 43 Helpmann Awards are being presented across two nights and two events in Melbourne, at the Victorian home of the performing arts, Arts Centre Melbourne.

The fourth West End Company of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child comprises Jamie Ballard as Harry Potter, Susie Trayling as Ginny Potter with Dominic Short as Albus Potter; Michelle Gayle as Hermione Granger, Rayxia Ojo as Rose Granger-Weasley and Thomas Aldridge as Ron Weasley; and James Howard as Draco Malfoy and Jonathan Case as Scorpius Malfoy.

The Sun will print its final edition today! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Manhattan Theatre Club's American premiere of INK, written by Olivier Award winner and Tony nominee James Graham (Labour of Love, Privacy, Finding Neverland) and directed by two-time Olivier Award winner, Tony and BAFTA Award nominee, Almeida Theatre Artistic Director Rupert Goold (King Charles III) , concludes its run at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street) today, July 7.
