Producer Mark Cortale has announced the season finale of his series at The Herbst Theatre  - two time Emmy Award winner Sarah Silverman will join Seth Rudetsky on Sunday, May 19th at 8:00 PM for one show only. Excitement is building at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) in Providence, RI, as the North American tour opening of the first ever Broadway revival of CATS approaches at the Theatre, January 22 - 27, 2019. To date, sixteen national tours have opened at PPAC since 2008. The CATS national tour launch will bring this number to seventeen national tour openings.

Producer Mark Cortale has announced a marquee trio for his acclaimed West End concert series - with two unique shows in one day, on Sunday February 3.

The Columbus Association for the Performing Arts (CAPA) today announced the 10 local high schools selected to participate in the first-ever CAPA Marquee Awards. Designed to recognize and celebrate the wealth of high-caliber musical theatre talent in central Ohio, the newly created awards program will send adjudicators to a performance of each participating school's qualifying musical theatre production to evaluate nominated students/productions in the categories of Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Musical Production, Best Direction, Outstanding Ensemble Performance, and Outstanding Student Orchestra Performance. Adjudicators will also separately evalute hard-copy nominations submitted in the categories of Backstage Excellence and Outstanding Technical Achievement.

Jimmy Awards® alumni from the previous 10 years reunited for the first ever Jimmy Awards Reunion event yesterday, January 14. Former Jimmy Awards nominees, representing every year of the program, reunited for the celebration which included special duet performances from alumni currently on Broadway and in Touring Broadway shows. Joining the festivities was special guest Patti Murin, currently starring in Broadway's Frozen.

Broadway superstar, and Tony Award nominee, Adam Pascal comes to Hollywood Boulevard for one week only, beginning today, January 15. Adam Pascal will play Edward Lewis through Sunday, January 20, 2019, during Andy Karl's time off.
