BE MORE CHILL makes its Central Valley premiere at the Selma Arts Center with performances running from July 19-27.

The Be More Chill: Original Broadway Cast Recording two-disc CD set is available online and in stores today, Friday, July 19. It was released for digital download and streaming earlier this year, with a vinyl release planned for later this year.

Cast members from Be More Chill recently stopped by NPR's Tiny Desk for a performance! The cast performed the songs 'The Pants Song,' 'A Guy That I'd Kinda Be Into,' 'Michael in the Bathroom,' and 'Voices in My Head.'

For this review I decided to take a road trip up to Grand Forks and I can tell you all this is was worth it. For those of you not familiar with this show, that just opened on Broadway this year, this is based on a 2004 book of the same name written by Ned Vizzini. This tells the story of Jeremy Heere who is an average teenager. That is, until he finds out about 'The Squip' - a tiny supercomputer that promises to bring him everything he desires most. This is a great show, although it may not be family friendly due to some language etc. I had never heard of the show until this week and I was sure to not read or listen to anything about it before I attended.

Tonight, the Broadway company of Be More Chill will celebrate an exciting step forward in the quest for diversity on stage, as four actors of Asian descent portray four principal roles in the show for the first time ever.

Today, the producers of Be More Chill announced the launch of "The Post Show Hang," a special Wednesday evening post-show encore series, that will include a performance tomorrow, Wednesday, May 29, with Gaten Matarazzo("Stranger Things"). Tony Award nominee Joe Iconis will accompany an exciting lineup of actors as they each perform a song from the Tony Award-nominated score of Be More Chill. After last night's performance of Be More Chill, the show's composer Joe Iconis took to the stage. He talked about his love for the musical LIttle Shop of Horrors, before bringing back out some members of the cast to do a mashup of that show, with Be More Chill.
