Following the recent news that French director Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 2001 film AMELIE will be adapted for Broadway by Hem's Dan Messe, book writer Craig Lucas and co-lyricist Nathan Tysen, the movie director told Agence France-Presse that he is 'disgusted' by the idea of AMELIE on Broadway.

Composer and lyricist Dan Messé of Hem revealed on the band's Facebook page on August 13 that he is currently working on the Broadway adaptation of Jean-Pierre Jeunet's 2001 film AMELIE.

Allison Case and Jay Armstrong Johnson will perform the song in anticipation of GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS' upcoming Original Broadway Cast Recording, which will be recorded next month and released in June 2013. Broadway's Andrew Keenan Bolger and other outstanding artists from the worlds of Broadway, television, film and other mediums will come together on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 7:30 PM for the third annual broadwayUNLOCKED (formerly known as "The Bridge"), a benefit concert celebrating the work of the Crime Victims Treatment Center (CVTC) of St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. The world premiere production of the new musical TUCK EVERLASTING, scheduled to play Boston's Citi Performing Arts Center Emerson Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) from July 28-August 18, 2013, has been postponed due to a lack of theatre availability for its planned subsequent production in New York. Future plans for the production will be announced at a later date.
