The Joyce Theater Foundation will present TAP CITY's 25th anniversary season, featuring Michelle Dorrance, Caleb Teicher, and a world premiere by Anthony Morigerato, with live music and archival footage.

Dixon Place will present the prestigious Bessies award ceremony, recognizing outstanding dance and performance artists, on January 20. This event highlights the achievements in dance and provides a platform for artists to be acknowledged.

We attended the exuberant opening night of A Very SW!NG OUT Holiday on Tuesday, December 9 at The Joyce Theater where the remarkably talented dancers brought to the stage their energy, joyous spirit, and passion for the art of dance.

McCarter Theatre Center has announced its 2024-2025 Dance Series – featuring Ballet Hispánico, SW!NG OUT from superstar choreographer Caleb Teicher, Noli Timere – a new collaboration between Director/Choreographer/Princeton University Professor Rebecca Lazier and sculptor Janet Echelman, Seoul-based Bereishit Dance Company, and Twyla Tharp Dance. In the third week of Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival 2022, audiences in the Ted Shawn Theatre will be treated to live music and the best of the swing dance world in SW!NG OUT. Also in Week 3, JazzAntiqua Dance & Music Ensemble, Prakriti Dance, Bill Shannon, and The New York Korean Performing Arts Center will take to the outdoor Henry J. Leir Stage.
