Director of Soho Estates Fawn James and Artistic Director Rachel Edwards together announce the opening programme for the Boulevard as the newly-reimagined venue opens its doors to the public for the first time in October 2019. The first show will be the London premiere of Dave Malloy's celebrated song cycle Ghost Quartet brought to life by the team behind the recent hit production of Sweeney Todd which won great acclaim in London and New York. Ghost Quartet will run alongside a packed roster of late-night and Sunday performances of cabaret, improv, jazz, comedy, classical music and poetry. The Boulevard Theatre's 2020 season will be announced in September.

New Musical Broken Wings premiered at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in 2018 in semi-staged concert format, Directed by Bronagh Lagan, Produced by Ali Matar and with Orchestrations and Musical Direction by Joe Davison. Following further development, the show now prepares for its first international production dates with a two-week London workshop, culminating in two public presentations at The Other Palace.
The Crazy Coqs Presents Concert Series Live at Zedel is presented on the last Sunday of every month. Each show features 5, sometimes 6 West End performers singing songs based on the theme of the night. Launching in June 'The Crazy Coqs Presents' is a new monthly showcase each with a different them hosted by lyricist Mark Petty, one half of the transatlantic writing team of Anderson & Petty. Show themes so far have included 'Classic Songs from the Musicals', 'Pride at the Musicals', 'The Disney Show' and last month 'The New Musical Theatre Showcase' which featured new material from Anderson & Petty, Kansley & Lidert, Oliver Boito, Kate Marlais & Alex Young and Webborn & Finn. These concerts have featured the cream of the West End including Rebecca Trehearn, Christina Bennington, Oliver Savile, Nadim Naaman, Charlotte Wakefield, David Shannon, Carolyn Maitland, Andy Coxon, Jane Milligan, Chloe Hart, Charlotte Jaconelli and Edward Baruwa to name but a few.
